Comprehensive management, review, and submission of time entries and timesheets.

The Time page provides a dedicated, expanded view of your logged hours. While the Dashboard offers a quick glance at today's work, the Time page is your primary hub for reviewing historical logs, managing bulk entries, and submitting your timesheets for approval.

Viewing and Filtering Time

At the top of the page, you can select a specific time period to generate a comprehensive summary of everything you have worked on during that timeframe.

To make reviewing your hours as clear as possible, your time is visually grouped and broken down by:

  • Day
  • Project (including any active change orders)
  • Task

Team Visibility: If you have administrative privileges, your view is expanded. You can use the filters at the top of the page to view and modify time entries submitted by other team members.

Managing Time Entries

The Time page provides advanced tools for managing your schedule efficiently, alongside the standard entry methods you use on the Dashboard.

Adding New Entries

You can add new time entries directly from this page using the same detailed form available on the Dashboard. This includes selecting your project, line item, task, applying any modifiers (like Overtime), and choosing between duration-based or exact start/end time entry methods.

Bulk Actions for Days

To speed up your workflow when dealing with repetitive schedules, you can manage entire days at a glance. By clicking the three dots next to a specific date, you can:

  • Move: Shift all of a day's time entries to a different date if your schedule changes.
  • Duplicate: Copy an entire day's time entries to another day. This is highly effective when working identical shifts across multiple days.

Time Approval Statuses

Every time entry tracks its current stage in the billing and approval lifecycle. You can quickly see the status of any entry on this page to understand where it stands:

  • Draft: Time that has been logged but not yet submitted for review. You can freely edit and modify these entries.
  • Submitted: Time that has been sent to management for approval.
  • Approved: Time that has been verified and accepted by a manager or administrator.
  • Billed: Time that has been officially invoiced to the client. Once billed, the entry is locked to preserve historical and financial accuracy.
  • Written Off: Time that was tracked internally but will not be billed to the client.

Timesheet Submission

Once you have verified that your logged hours for a given period are accurate, you can submit your time directly from this page. Submitting transitions your "Draft" entries into the "Submitted" status, pushing them forward in the pipeline for managerial approval and eventual billing.
