Calendar
View and manage your time entries visually across month, week, and day views.
The Calendar page provides a visual overview of how your days break down by the tasks you've worked on. It offers a comprehensive, time-based perspective on your activities, allowing you to easily view, enter, and adjust time records.
Calendar Views
You can switch between different perspectives to get the right level of detail for your needs:
- Month View: Get a high-level overview of the entire month, summarizing total hours and showing patterns in your workload over time.
- Week View: See a detailed day-by-day breakdown of your week, viewing exactly how your time blocks stack up against each other across the days.
- Day View: Zoom in on a single day for a granular look at your schedule and time entries down to the exact start and stop times.
Navigating Dates
Use the top Navigation Bar on the calendar page to quickly jump between dates. You can move forward or backward by month, week, or day depending on your current view, or quickly snap back to the current date by clicking the "Today" button.
Managing Time Entries
The calendar isn't just for viewing past logs; it's a fully interactive interface for managing your timesheet.
Interactive Editing
- Drag and Drop: You can easily adjust the schedule of your past entries or rearrange planned tasks. Simply click and drag an existing time block in the Week or Day view to move it to a different time slot or another day.
- Modify Duration: You can stretch or shrink the bottom edge of a time block in the Day or Week view to quickly adjust its recorded duration.
Creating New Entries
You can directly create new time entries from the calendar interface:
- Start and Stop Times: Click on any empty slot on the calendar (in Day or Week view) or click on a specific day in the Month view. You can then enter precise start and stop times for the new entry, assign the relevant project, line item, and task, and provide a description of the work performed.
